| Annotation | The time is 1963. The place is South Africa. Gus and Diana Roth, middle-class whites, are involved in the struggle against apartheid. The story, however, is seen through the eyes of their 13-year-old daughter, Molly, who feels neglected and ignored by her mother, shut out by Diana's preoccupation with her political activities.
